He died at the age of almost 85. He was a servant of God, a friend, a priest who loyally served the Body of Christ until his last breath, all the world round. The Lord gave him an extraordinary intellect and wisdom, together with the experience of baptism in the Holy Spirit. He also received from God the talent and ability to provide specific and comprehensible theological explanations and descriptions of spiritual experiences that are taking place within the Church, notably after the Second Vatican Council. - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

V stopách svojej babky objavuje Božiu dobrotu a krásu v prírode. Objavuje Božiu starostlivosť o nás ľudí v liečivých rastlinách, ktoré nám prinášajú uzdravenie a vďačnosť za zaopatrenie, ktoré nám Pán skrze Ním stvorené rastliny dáva.
Stůj noho! posvátná místa jsou kamkoli kráčíš...
Na zošľapávaných miestach, ako sú chodníky, cestičky popri hriadkach so zeleninou, dvory, záhrady pri dome – teda na takých celkom obyčajných miestach, po ktorých denne stúpame - by sme asi liečivé bylinky ani nehľadali. A predsa. Stačí si čupnúť a lepšie sa prizrieť.
Pre mňa sú svedectvom o tom, ako Boh vložil svoju úžasnú silu a stvoriteľskú moc aj do toho, čo považujeme za všedné. A pripomínajú mi, že stačí si to všímať. Zastavme sa teda na chvíľu a pozrime sa, po čom bežne „šľapeme“.
Nátržník husí
Ako názov hovorí, rastie aj na miestach, kde sa pasú husi. Videli ste niekedy taký dvorček, kde sa pasú husi? Asi vám nemusím hovoriť, že nevyzerá veľmi lákavo ani voňavo. A práve na takomto mieste Boh dáva rásť jednej z najlepších byliniek na boľavé bruško, hlavne ak ide o bolesti kŕčovité – či už pri bolesti žalúdka, žlčníka, alebo bolestivej menštruácii. Človek by si myslel, že by mala rásť na nejakom vznešenejšom mieste. Na druhej strane, takto je to veľmi praktické. Keď ju človek potrebuje, nemusí za ňou chodiť po celom chotári, nájde ju hocikde pri dome. Jej výhodou oproti iným žalúdočným bylinkám je, že nie je horká. Čo ocenia hlavne deti. Môžeme ju vhodne kombinovať s inými bylinkami – s alchemilkou, pastierskou kapsičkou, mätou, ľubovníkom a podobne. Veľmi účinne napríklad aj s myším chvostom (rebríčkom).
Skorocel širokolistý
Keď si dieťa oškrie lakeť, obije kolienko, či poreže prst, iste, poviete si, nejde o žiadnu veľkú boľačku. Ale pre malého pacienta je to situácia, keď potrebuje pocítiť starostlivosť svojej mamy, babky... K súcitnému fúkaniu tak možno pridať ešte tento prejav starostlivosti od Stvoriteľa – jeden čerstvý široký list skorocelu - čistý priložíme na ranu a zaviažeme. Takýto prírodný obväz často meníme. A potom si už len s vďakou všímame, ako „skoro sa rana zacelí“. Kto neverí, nech vyskúša. (Pomáha aj dospelým.)
Na záver ešte upozornenie. Tak, ako pri všetkých bylinkách, dbáme na to, aby sme zberali len čisté rastliny, nie pri frekventovaných cestách, kde sú znehodnotené výfukovými plynmi a inými nečistotami.
