He died at the age of almost 85. He was a servant of God, a friend, a priest who loyally served the Body of Christ until his last breath, all the world round. The Lord gave him an extraordinary intellect and wisdom, together with the experience of baptism in the Holy Spirit. He also received from God the talent and ability to provide specific and comprehensible theological explanations and descriptions of spiritual experiences that are taking place within the Church, notably after the Second Vatican Council. - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Rodičia inak obdarovaných detí
Boh nám zveril veľké poklady
Do hnutia Viera a Svetlo patríme už od jeho vzniku, t. j. od októbra 1988. Obidve naše deti prekonali detskú mozgovú obrnu a do spoločenstva sme prišli, keď mal Stanko desať a mladšia Veronika šesť rokov. Dnes sú už dospelí. Stanko je ženatý a má dve deti; dcéra Veronika je mladé slobodné dievča a žije s nami. Je zamestnaná ako šička v nemocnici a možno opravuje plášte aj tým lekárom, ktorí nám vraveli, aby sme ju dali do ústavu, lebo z nej vraj nič nebude.
Zakladateľ hnutia Viera a Svetlo Jean Vanier raz na jednom stretnutí nám, rodičom „inak obdarovaných“ detí, povedal, že Pán Boh nedá takéto deti len tak hocikomu. Po týchto slovách sme si i my dvaja uvedomili, že Veronika a Stanko sú Božie deti, sú veľkým darom pre nás i pre tento svet a že nám ich zveril do dočasnej opatery.
Prijatie a milovanie našich ratolestí takých, aké sú, bolo pre nás veľkým oslobodením. Deti nás postupne učili živšej viere a láske k Bohu a k blížnym. Stávali sme sa radostnejšími a zároveň sme sa učili cez nich viac dôverovať nášmu Nebeskému Otcovi a za všetko mu ďakovať.
Jeden z Božích dotykov, ktorý sa nám navždy vryl do srdca, bolo prvé stretnutie so Jeanom Vanierom ešte za totality v malej osade na Morave pri poľských hraniciach. Museli sme sa skrývať, ale stretnutie bolo veľkým požehnaním. Naša Veronika bola v tom období veľmi hlučná a všetkého sa chcela dotýkať. Tak sme sa ju stále snažili tíšiť a chodili sme s ňou von z miestnosti. Jean si to všimol a po krátkom čase ju pozval k sebe. Dal jej na chvíľu mikrofón, ona povedala niekoľko svojich nezrozumiteľných slov a bola spokojná. Zostala pri ňom tichučko sedieť - tak, akoby bola pri Ježišových nohách. Vtedy nám prišli na rozum slová Pána Ježiša: ,,Nechajte maličkých prísť ku mne, lebo takým patrí kráľovstvo nebeské." A Jean práve hovoril o tomto kráľovstve Božom a iných veciach, ktoré nás hlboko zasiahli.
